Attachments
New Skill Gems

Attachments are a new feature in Path of Exile 2, functioning similarly to Quivers for Bow users. These Skill Gems are equipped in the offhand slot when using a Crossbow and provide additional skill slots for Path of exile currency your character. Although they don't add extra stats, they enhance the Mercenary’s versatility by allowing the use of various Skills and Ammo combinations.

Attachments can also be supported by Support Gems, further expanding the customization and effectiveness of your skills. This addition allows the Mercenary to employ a wide range of strategies and tactics in combat.
Grenades and Their Effects

Attachments also include Grenade Skills, which can be used in conjunction with buy Path of exile currency your Crossbow skills. These grenades come with various effects and can be strategically deployed to maximize their impact. For example, Incendiary Rapid Shot increases grenade damage while the Crossbow heats up, and you can use Incendiary Power Shot to detonate grenades, creating explosive synergy.
